The early work of Dr. Tomatis consisted of helping Opera Singers to sing better by improving the way they hear their own voice. This was the starting point of his life-long work on listening training and on the ear-voice connection. One of Tomatis’ claims to fame is the long list of celebrities he helped including Maria Callas, Gerard Depardieu and Sting. This application of listening training for singers, actors, musicians and other professionals in the performing arts is an important aspect of The Listening Centre's activity.
